Off to England for three weeks, relaxing, gathering sewing supplies, antiquing and eating and drinking with family and friends. When I am back I will be sewing avidly again so see you soon.

So today I am cleaning windows and I found this interesting site on wartime home facts and a neat youtube clip of a cleaning windows song. .....aiming to cut material tomorrow for a new pattern, will post those tomorrow.

Found this wonderful site with a good old recipe and a really good film clip of wartime gardening. Not only doing flowers but cold weather bulbs and seeds for veggies are going in too. Onions and brussels to start.
